What is a hand bouquet?

A hand bouquet (or hand-tied bouquet) is arranged in the florist’s hand in a spiral so the stems support each other, then tied and wrapped. The result is a rounded, natural shape that is easy to hold and looks good from every angle. That makes hand bouquets the go-to choice for graduations, dates and birthdays where flowers are handed over in person.

Choosing the size

  • Petite (around 30 cm): ideal for graduations and small thank-yous, e.g. our baby’s breath bouquet.
  • Classic (around 40–45 cm): the everyday gift size, such as the blush rose and tulip bouquet.
  • Statement: fuller designs like hydrangeas or a dozen roses for anniversaries.

Hand bouquet delivery

Hand bouquets can be delivered to homes, offices, schools and campuses. For convocations, we recommend scheduling delivery to your home the day before or the morning of the ceremony, as campus halls usually restrict access.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a hand bouquet and a bouquet?

Every hand bouquet is a bouquet, but not every bouquet is hand-tied. “Hand bouquet” usually means a compact, spiral-tied design meant to be carried. Browse all flower bouquets for bigger and boxed styles.

Do hand bouquets need a vase?

They arrive with a hydration pack and are fine for several hours. Unwrap and place them in a vase of clean water the same day for the longest life.

Can I pick up a hand bouquet myself?

Self-collection depends on our studio arrangements. Please contact us before ordering if you would like to collect.
